XJ550 520 chain conversion

    Has anyone done a 520 chain conversion on their 550

    Or can anyone tell me what sprockets to use, I can't find a decent online catalouge to cross reference

    Less mass. The 550 does not have a lot of power and does not need a big chain to haul around. Less expensive too.

    What he said, common conversion on race bikes (which this will be)

    I did find a front which was off a FZ400 although a slightly different offset, back I will probably do out of a blank

    That's where I got the FZ400 dimensions from

    Haven't found a rear yet as I am using a RD350 spoked wheel but getting one made is easy enough
