    haha

jsut the place not to ask

from what I understand, no one has made an xj chain drive....

BUT, a good place to start might be buying an xs11 chain drive kit... and adapting it to the xj750... because the xs11 and xj1100 are the same engine I think... and they're alot like the 750... i think

    back me up guys

    Don't know about the 1100's.

I suppose in theory you could use the final drive with a short driveshaft to turn a sprocket to turn the rear wheel you'd have to do some careful gear ratio calculating and machine work for the final drive/front sprocket shaft.

Everything is possible with enough $$$ and brains. Lacking one causes a greater need for the other.

A very short driveshaft to a Bush Hog 90* gearbox, then to a sprocket.

Is there a pile of money staring at you??

Have you researched the way Yamaha made the 550 Maxims chain drive? I don't know if any parts interchange between the 550s and 750s, but there might be an idea in there....

You will have to stretch the back out, then utilise the dif' from an ATV.

+1 on sticking with shaft and virago wheels or, diff motor
    with chain drive.
As stated above, money can make almost anything happen.
But is there enough asprin in the world to make it worth the
    effort?
But don't stop with the build! check the gallery for chopper pics.
the xj motors look awsome in those frames IMHO.
