Ok I have a rough Idea that motorcycle jackets (decent ones) are pretty expensive, and my local stearlership wanted around 60 bucks for street bike gloves.

for Christmas (or should I say holiday?) I got these Gray answer gloves used by dirt bikers but they have some good protection.

The gray will match my Gray Seca, and then i bought these yellow shocks

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... MEWAX%3AIT

Then when browsing the bay I found this Jacket: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... K:MEWNX:IT

I think its an incredible deal for one helluva jacket.

I use a black and grey snowmobile helmet (dot approved)

Does this sound like a sensible riding outfit?

I wear my workboots most of the time when I ride, and jeans, never shorts... I think its good enough... should prevent most road rash, looks sensible, and visible.

I felt like I was wearing my little cousins shirts... i didnt come out fo the dressing room to show my mom, i just did a little dance and sung, "fat guy in a little shirt"

those Crother rocket jackets are huger coats too, Thats why I wen with the XL one... just a lil bigger than i need

Did you buy it yet? My favorite is are used leather air force jackets. Great for riding and look good off the bike too. I have a G2 - its pretty much an A1 jacket with a button up neck guard

Sharp jacket. I've wanted a Yamaha one that looked good for a while. Shame those are the only colors they got. If they had a black and silver or black and green i'd be all over it

For $70.00 you got a good deal if it keeps you warm and
    road rash free.

IMHO most of us older guys should stick with black leather.

Otherwise you look like you've got that "mid life crisis" thing
    going on lol.

Schooter, I like the jacket. Have you received it yet? If so, or when you do let us know how you like it and maybe pose for a pick in the jacket and those sporty yellow socks!

Hope your doing well and school is not straining the brain!
