Just the adaptor, I might be able to do the whole set-up but was thinking of using the cooler for my kz1000.

Is this specific to the 750? Or might it fit a 650?

Well, the one everybody likes to use for the 750 comes off a 650 Seca Turbo, so as I understand it, they're the same size... I'd imagine it would work.

    It'll work on both 650s and 750s.

I've got one but have no idea how to affix it to the engine. I've got the same bolt but no washer to secure it. Mikenj, can you post a photo of how the assembly is supposed to attach to the front of the engine?

That Cooler adapter in the photograph does not look like a Yamaha Oil Cooler Adapter.

It looks more like an early, Aftermarket one from Lockhart.

I'd agree (I also have two units off of a turbo and a 750) Rick. I received the plate and a threaded bolt that drops through the hole in the middle. Near as I can figure, this means that I have to replace both plate AND filter cover o-rings each time I crack open to do an oil change. The stock units don't do this. What a PITA!
