Floating the Idea of Southwest Rally at Arcosanti

For those in the know, you know what Arocsanti is. It's an urban experiment that literally, being there, you think you're in Mos Eisley from Star Wars.

Anyrate, I have a good friend who is very involved with Arcosanti whom I came to know through the annual Slab City Poetry Slam which happens every year in late spring.

Have gotten in contact with her to begin getting ideas as to what it would cost to make use of the place and if the Arcosanti people would be down for it. As I get more information, I'd like to see if there are any other members in the Arizona region who might be interested in getting involved in helping to organize.

Contact me as I'd like to see if there'd be some serious interest in doing this.

 

Will there be some free spirited hippie chicks there?

I'm not good at organization. That's the kind of thing Dean would be great at.

 

I could probably make it, depending on date/time.

 

I might be able to make it too depending on work schedule and date.

 

Why arcosanti? What is there to do there? Any good day rides in that area? Keep me posted.

 

How are the plans going for the Southwest Rally at Arcosanti? Holy heatwave, Batman! Better get going with it before it gets too hot. It was 85 today so I may have to switch on the A/C before long.

 

Dang Steve it was 22 here today and snowing, that's the whole idea, have it where it's cooler.

 

Wanted to bump this thread and see if there is still interest in a rally. I'd definitely attend.
