Now if we could only hammer the lesson topics covered here into EVERY driver, we might breath a little easier.

The first one was funny. I saw something happen like the second one while i was riding. Saw a complete stranger get creamed because some girl was on her cell and she ran a stop sign. Scary stuff

ive become such a baby around intersections on my bike. about a month ago right outisde my house as i was turning right at an intersection i saw in my rear view some guy who just blasted through the red light and slammed into the wall of cars just starting off at the light that just turned green. the people who were fastest starting off got hit, i used to take off at intersections now i hang back so that doesn't happen to me.

I lost a good shipmate all of 7 months after he retired to a similar driver in a Jeep back in 2005. I HATE cell phones.

This has been done before - but it is an offence in the UK - anywhere!

The bike ad is hard hitting and fortunately "I didn't see him officer" doesn't work anymore.

Some states here in the US have made it illegal as well, but I'd say at least 90% of the people I've seen, anytime you look at them, are on the phone every second, weather they're driving, eating, using the bathroom, doesn't matter

Even where it's against the law,I don't think it's enforced at all. They finally come up with 1 law that actually makes sense, and will prevent casualties, and they don't bother enforcing it :x
