    can you guys tell me what motorcycle Malcolm Smith rides... he's pretty Bad @$$

    And I love how that town lets them use the town as a track. and sidecar racing is cool, my cousin used to do that.

    Also, the motorcycle drag racing was insane back then

    and those 2 inch studs on tires are crazy, now a days they use studs like screw head style

    and then jim rice bustin up his face, throwing on a handkerchief with blood all over his face and riding... and that other guy riding with a broken leg and winning his heat, this is so awesome

    careful, Polock, you're showing your age...

    I do believe you're right about Malcolm Smith being on a Huskvarna. I haven't seen the movie since I was around your age, Schooter.

    On a related note, did you see where somebody has the Metisse name and is building Metisse Triumph Steve McQueen Desert Racer Replicas? Complete with rebuilt original Triumph 650 motors... http://www.metisse-motorcycles.com/

    Love the movie!
    A 30 year old quote, from a mechanic in our shop in Gainesville, as I would roll a bike on his lift for him to work on;

    "No ssa, Don't work on no Ossa"

    Cheers!
