Well, the PO said he changed the seals but after only 2 months they are leaking pretty bad. (I guess he didn't) Any how, I decided that I wanted to get them changed at my local Bikers Bay repair shop. I bought the top outside seals and took the bike over there yesterday. I figured a couple of hours and I am gone. Well, they brought out the top portion of the fork, the part with the air valve on it, and showed me. Apparently the PO who "replaced" the seals used some sort of latex on top of the bad seal to make a new one. Now my bike is on the stand for a couple of days while they order new seals.
NEVER take for granted anything the PO says about what he has done to the bike.

I would also recommend NOT using those Pro-Moly seals you find for around $35. Yeah they're cheap but the customer rating on them is horrible. There seems to be like a 75% fail rate in the FIRST year of use. After some research I just bought the Yamaha seals for $70. After I did that, I found out that my local Yamaha dealer will order but NOT install those Pro-Moly. Too many complaints.
