XJ's in the movies

Appears to be an XJ Maxim. Not sure what size.

Isn't the XJ in the Road Warrior movie? Or maybe it's Mad Max - I don't remember which movie - the second one - where in the end he drives the tanker truck filled with sand. Not the first one with the entire biker gang - that was before The XJ's time.

 

I'm not positive because I haven't seen the movie this year but I'm pretty sure that in Real Genius the bike that Ick is riding is a Maxim.

Oh well! I guess I'll have to go watch my 80's movies again! :wink:

 

oh damnit!!! i JUST saw a movie/tv show that showed a seca in the background but cant for the life of me remember where i saw it!!! it was red...anyone notice?

 

in the movie revenge of the nerds the jock shows up at there house on a 82 xj550 seca. and also the begnning of the movie one crazy summer i think another seca is in the bike gang.

 

That bike was a BMW.

 

I'm going to have to go back and slow-mo the scenes to be sure because I can't find a pic online.

 

You can tell it's a Beemer because of the flying brick.

 

There was a Seca Turbo in one of the 007 movies.

 

An XJ 500 appeared in For Your Eyes Only.

Never Say Never Again featured an XJ 650 Turbo.

Yamaha 650 XJ Police in Chao ji ji hua (Once a Cop).

I thought the bike 007 rode -in For Your Eyes Only -while chasing Fatima Blush was a turbo bike.
One of my favorite 007 flicks. I'll have to watch again.

 

So I just caught a movie with a 650/750 Maxim in it! 1993/1994 "The Dark" - Stephen McHattie plays Gary 'Hunter' Henderson - who rides a Maxim!
