    Hi all my name is Mike (chevy45412001) i am new on this site but also belong to xs-xj owners ass. i'm setting up a rally for Aug of this year(exsact date coming soon (hopefully this next wed??) It is going to be held in southern Wisconsin close to the ill border near lake michigan. Though it is primarly for the 1100 side of the xs-xj owners we welcome all bikes and riders. Plans are for one day at the local drag strip followed by a 200-250 mile ride threw the local senery on Sunday.So far this is a one time event....but if interest and turnout dictate i will make this an annual event. myself and a few others will be camping out but hotel motel are very near to track camp grounds and riding. so if anyone is interested post up . hopes to be a good time and a chance to put a face to the people we talk to on line. (more info as it becomes available)

    so far we have about 10 people attending the rally. four are staying at the motel thus far,the rest are camping at the camp grounds. Aug.11-13 2006 ,union grove Wis. all are welcome. drag racing on sat, sunday will be aprox 200-275 mile ride around south east wisconsin. :lol:

    late post. Ralley was great. Had people attend from Iowa,Penn., Georgia and Minn. all in all very good turn out ,for a first annual event. Will be having again in 2007. So set some time aside. we did not drag race instead ended up putting on 400 miles Saturday and another 225 on sunday then to my place for a cookout. was a real good time.Hope to meet more xjers next year.
