I don't really want to sell it but I need a bike that can handle being outside year round under a bike cover. That also does not require alot of up keep. I am in the military and I am gone alot. Most of the time 3 to 4 months at a time. I don't have any pictures of it on my computer but I will try to get some up soon. What do you guys think I should do? Sell and buy newer sport type or what?

i think a dual sport would be best for that...

I added a couple of pics in my gallery. The one in beside the cars is the newest one. Do you think I can get a grand for it?

It would depend on how well bikes are selling in your area. From the looks of your pictures you should be able to get that out of it.

Thanks for the reply. I am taking all three parts (driver, passenger and back rest)of the seat to be recovered tomorrow. I am waiting on a set of aftermarket signals to come in as well. I have an X rear tire I am in the process of stripping, sanding and grinding smooth so I can polish it. I was thinking of putting fazer front tire on and polishing it as well.

I just seen a lady has an 700X 1985 that she only wants $400 for it. It has been laid down but still the picture of the bike is in decent shape. So that kind of makes me wonder what I will be able to get for mine.
