I plan to get longer fork tubes for my bike and just had some questions about this:

When I get longer fork tubes will I have to get any other modified parts for the install?

My forks ar currently air assisted would forking by frank still use this or just delete this feature?

Good chance you'll need longer brake lines and a longer speedo cable. Also a longer parking spot 8)

Well I do appreciate the effort fellas. I havent called yet but need to... swing shift between 2nd and 3rd 7days a week.
2nd shift - find all parts wanted on ebay get info from xjbikes forum

3rd shift - ride bike, install new parts, make use of helpful info.

You will no doubt lose the air assist with the Frank brand forks, but that's not needed anyway. You will need longer brake lines and speedometer cable to make the work also, so you want to keep that in mind. The longer forks will raise the front of the bike, so you may want to consider raking out the front some,(to bring the front of the bike back to stock level) which will involve some cutting and welding. I suggest doing the research on fork angles and handling characteristics, so you don't end up with a dangerous handling bike when your done. Good luck!
