Seca forks are air assist. Could use a bicycle pump for putting air in. What kind of gauge could you use to measure 5.9 lbs???

I use one with 1lb increments. NEVER use a compressor to put air in your shocks. Normally it only takes a couple of pumps using a bicycle pump to reach the pressure you need in front or rear shocks.

You can get air gauges in various ranges; 0-20lbs; 0-55lbs, 0-100lbs.

Sporting goods (balls, "floaties" etc,) Automobiles/motorcycles, and bicycle tires all pretty much need a different gauge.

Handy to have at least one of each around. I marked mine with colored tape to differentiate at a glance.

I used my paint regulator turned way down, although, any would do. Just check its output and add a half lb so when you remove the chuck that little puff gets you back where you should be and both sides will be pretty close.

The way to get it perfect is to have a portable air tank.
Load the tank with exactly the pressure you want. No need to double check due to the much larger volume of the tank.
