He sent me the pics, I dropped 'em in my Photobucket for him.

Check the scenery in some of the pictures; I'm jealous.

Thanks, my friends and like I said it´s not finish yet ,in a couple more weeks I pretend to have it as I want to. And yes I live just outside the capital Santiago about 25 Km, so I have plenty secondary roads and mountains where I can ride my moto.

Nice, I was thinking it would look the same as my Max XS only with 4 Cyl, but definitely like a smaller 550, Peg sets, Gauges, and Frame stand out.

*sigh* If Rick doesn't stop posting those nice pics of the 900 I'm going to go buy that one around here and clean it up, but it's a bit more weight than I want to deal with :)

The XJ 400 Special was made for the Japanese market and some how
I think that it´s fastest than the 550 Maxim, the spedometer goes up to
180 Kmh, so far I have ride it up 145 Kmh and I still have some more to
    go.

Beautiful bike, too bad they never made it over on this side of the pond.

Looks like they used XJ650 side covers on them.
