I'm actually doing some research to try to get a titled frame to an eBay customer. I have a 1981 Seca 550RH, I am having trouble pinning him down to what frame he is trying to replace. He did give me the motor and frame #4H7-107464, maybe some of the more enlightened souls can help me get this guy back on his bike. I am currently riding the RD 350 train and enjoying learning some more about two strokes as I never worked on them before. I have owned a 1972 TX 650A which I reluctantly parted with a couple years ago. And have parted out a wrecked XJ650 prior to this current bike(both were far beyond viable restoration). I'm a Yamaha man, just tend towards the older bikes(I don't like dealing with 4 carbs unless I have to). On the personal front, I'm a Texan, Austin specifically. Thanks again for having me, I use several forums, so I have pretty good manners but, if I make a newbie mistake, be gentle on me.

Hey welcome to the site! RD 350 sounds cool. been hearing a lot about them. I am actually a newbie myself but there is a lot of experience here... I think I am a red liner on the forum ranking thing but that is just because I never shut up.
But pretty well natured and mannered people here and a LOT of invaluable knowledge. Oh... and encouragement. Plenty of that.

I like forums, collectively, all users become one big pulsing expert with thousands and thousands of man hours of experience. I'm liking the RD, 2 cylinders, 2 carbs, front and rear drum brakes(it's sort of an R5/RD350 mashup). Simple and low maintenance. Well except for that top end thing...seems like I'll be an expert at top end jobs, as that seems to be the consensus...it's not if, it's when. Mine is torn down awaiting a replacement for my old dead compressor so I can get some paint on the frame before I start building up.

Ya but in three more months, my experience already gained and with this site, I'll be able to fully rebuild. Haha.

Hey hey hey, Rob... I have a yellow racing stripe made of colored electrical tape on my helmet. That alone makes me at least 1mph faster. Hahaha.

4-into-1 slashers are a nice clean style for those 4-bangers, I like em...

Some of those 4 into 1 Systems come in either Chrome or Black.

If you pick Chrome ... take a picture of how the Chrome looked before you fire it up with those pipes on there the first time.

Some turn Blue right before your eyes.
