    I love Yamaha's. My first was an R-5 350 when I was 16 in 76.
From 78-92 I worked for 3 Yamaha dealers assembling all these bikes and waverunners. too. Since 93, I've had a mobile Waverunner servicing business in our County.
    I have owned:
    R-5s
    RD350s
    RD400s
    XS400s
    TT500s
    YZ400 (78)
And ridden all the others during those times.
Twice rode new bikes to Yamaha electrical schools in Atlanta. An XS 650 and a Seca 650.
Found my current 650 on Ebay 2 years ago from southern Alabama. 5000 miles for $1300!
    I'm loving it.
    Like this site too.

I'm Tom in Bradenton, FL. Working on an '83 XJ900 resto project. Bike is on the road now (in fact, took it for its first ride today). Did a frame-up resto on the bike. New paint on the frame, etc. etc. I'm just wrestling with body paint now. Local paint shop #1 couldn't get the color to match the Super Red after two tries. Going to paint shop #2 hopefully tomorrow. Have to repaint the left side cover and bikini fairing.

This is a resto project I intend to sell and make a few bucks on. Bike is in great shape. Runs super. Every nut and bolt has been buffed, cleaned and if appropriate, painted. More detail work to do and then in about a month or two it's going on Craigslist. Clear title, legally registered.

    Ride safe!
