Bought a part from this guy (Greg) and he sent me the wrong side and then ceased all communication when I asked for the right part. This guy is a scum bag...I lost money and never got the part I paid for so beware!

I just bought something from him and I got the right part and the transaction was relatively smooth so I want to give him the opportunity to address this situation.

 

Femme069 needs to know what you're asking for when making a purchase.

That is what I suspected. It is never good to form an opinion on a matter until you have heard both sides. I was especially suspicious given the fact that the person doing the criticizing had 1 (one) post on this forum. Thanks for responding and defending your good name.

Femme, in the future, be slow to speak disparagingly of members of this site. When someone sells something on this site, they are not a store. It is not like buying something from Walmart where we have come to expect to be able to return any thing, at any time, for any reason. If we make a wrong request we cannot expect someone to re-send something at their expense.

That being said, it is often worth one's while to go the extra distance to keep people happy in order to retain a good reputation.

 

Buyer requested oil line for suzuki then stated it was "wrong side".
Maybe thought they were interchangeable,,, they aren't.
Buyer should KNOW what they are looking for and don't ASSUME.

I agree with you. If Femme returns the part and pays the additional shipping will you send her the part she really needs?

 

Nicely moderated Mirco, Gmon isn't a schmuck (no offense Schmuck). While I've not purchased anything from the gentleman, I've had a bit of experience with him and he impresses me as being a reasonable and fair person.

It sounds like Femme needs to be certain what they need rather than have this sort of issue occur. It never hurts to ask a LOT of questions before you lay your money on the table, Greg will address any issues you raise. He sure did for me.

Because femme is new here I think she lacks the perspective that so many of us share in that we view each other as brother xjer's. That perspective certainly was apparent as we shared the shock and grief of losing our dear friend Bill Schmitt last year.

The fraternal dimension of this site is endearing to many of us and so we have grown careful and even jealous to defend each other and to come to each other's aid - albeit in small measures.

So that is why I felt compelled to address the issue as it pertained to gmoncrief. In my book - he is A-1!
