Hello, just registered, been browsing the site for about a week or so, lot of information here. was wondering if anyone out there new of a place to get seats redone. what I am looking for is maybe a newer style looking seat. awhile back i saw a xj700 on ebay that had a seat that resembled a vmax seat & looked great. any ideas or info would be great, look forward to trading info.

Corbin does mods but are not cheap (and are in California, postage isn't cheap either). Best bet is to approach a neighborhood upholstry shop and have them whip up your custom application. Most shops can do it but I would ask around at the local bike shops as to who they send their business to. For custom seats expect to spend $150 or more.

My friend just had his seat redone at a local upholstery shop. If you don’t find anything that’s ready made you can go that route as well. This custom job cost him around $200CAD.

I'd get myself a good cover and do it myself. I got mine through here: www.motorcycleseatcovers.com/ and it was really easy to do, just make sure you have a really good staple gun. Check out my bike in my gallery to see my seat. Hope this helps!

    click "make your own seat"

Anyway, maybe you could get inspired.
