    Hi, im new to the XJ maxims, i just bought my first one over the winter, and im just about done restoring it. its an 81 xj650 maxim. here are a few shots, i still have to blast/paint my header and get a new muffler for it. i did all the mechanical stuff and paint/body work. let me know what you think

    Its still not finished, i have some more teal to paint over with the metallic blue and some turn signals to install, but it should be ready to ride by spring 8)

    Hi hoobatech, I think you picked a better colour than what it was!! I need to paint mine also but, I'm in that too cold/non-heated garage problem.

    Nice hoobatech, Ya must have the same taste as me cos that's the colour I painted my XJ a four months ago. Much better than the original.

    Must post a pic of mine all painted.
