Ok well I have a little friend living inside my spedometer. I went for a ride today and found a little spider crawling around the face under the glass. My question is how can i get the darn thing out. I have the stock 86 xj700x gauge.

i don't know about getting him out - but i've heard if you're careful with a magnifying glass on a bright sunny day, you can cook him without wrecking your speedo.

You need to tie a length of thread to the leg of a girl spider and send her in.

When he mounts her pull them both out with the string :D

I don't know, I just had mine apart, doesn't look like a vac would hurt anything. But what do I know, I tried to fix a whining and ended up breaking it. But I did stop the whining, so mission accomplished :)

I would think that inserting a piece of raw meat in there would attract maggots. Good luck!

just be thankfull!! the last eight legged friend I had dropped down inside my visor while I was doing 100km down the road!!! Now for the record, I'm not afraid of spriders... BUT... there was at least a small amount of shock and awe involved with the situation!!!
