oil leak

    oil is leaking out of some gaskets in my '82 xj750

    think i should rebuild the motor since it will be out and apart to change the gaskets and paint anyway? if so where can i get all the parts?

    Naw, Just park next to the Harleys and nobody will notice.

    Do it, its alway good to know whats going on in there anyway. I got a top end gasket set off ebay for about 45 bucks, but that was before I found this site. chacal has everything you need. While your at it, check your valve clearances.

    Take advice from my screw-up, this is the time to do the fine cleaning and polishing/painting of the engine.
