I have a 1982 650 maxim and would like to replace the front brake hose with a stainless steel replacement. Where is my best bet to go? Thanks

+1. Plus they're real DoT approved assemblies and they come in colors AND he will make custom sizes for you no problem.

Best single improvement you can make to the brakes.

    Bump:

Is there a one-piece line available instead of the two-piece? I hope this can bring the cost down. . .

I may just look into using an AN line with banjo adapters.

And you can also get a universal kit from Dennis Kirk that has long lengths (6 ft. or more) of brake line that you can cut to length and install the supplied ends on them. They are about the cheapest way yo go I have found, however, I have not used them yet, Just another option.

also, is there any advantage to using two lines with the coupler on the xj650? I can see just eliminating it for the single SS braided line

Bump. What exactly is that coupler for? As near as I can tell it just doubles the cost of an upgrade!
