No, my swing arm came with the bearings and pivot shaft, I just had to find some tubing with the same ID as the shaft. my biggest problem is making the jackshaft, Or I did find an offset spocket that comes from the Banshee but the Banshee shaft is threaded and spocket is held on with a big nut unlike the Maxims lock ring.

Quick question 550 Fan, do remember how long the shock was, and can you try to explain how the shock attaches to swing arm with the factory bracketry. I get the idea just wondering how it attaches. Also, when you sat on the bike did the shock seem stiff or squish.

Don't remember how long the shock was, it came from an R1, R1 swing arm and 190 tire. the shock felt nice and you could bounce on it, it also has different height settings. as far as the lower shock brackets, there's a dog bone that you have to make a mount for, the other end goes to the shock bracket. If interested my bike is for sale, I have too much on my plate and the bikes in the way. its not finished yet , still like the last pics i put up.
