81 Yamaha XJ650 Maxim Tank

This is a gas tank with petcock off of an 81 Yamaha Maxim XJ 650. Near perfect condition, a little rust under the tank and some around the cap. Inside is good. Starting at $300 considering new they are $500. Shoot me some offers.

Check ebay for current prices -- I suspect you'll be lucky to get $150 for it.

 

$300-its a starting price, I would like to get as much as possible but offer whatever you think is fair, I won't be offended, we can work out a deal that makes us both happy. $300 is just a price. Thanks

 

i just got one for 40 shipped and sold one 40 shipped good luck with that one

 

Got $75 for mine that had no rust and I put a lot of work into. I removed all the paint and put 4 coats of primer on it. The guy drove and picked it up.

I was happy to get $75

This isn't a rare bike, there are a million tanks out there hence the price.
