What is a good price on a 82 650 Maxim ? It starts right up and runs good. Perfect tires front and rear. Missing battery cover and seat cover needs replaced. Other than that, it's in pretty good shape.

    Less than 20,000 original. It's about 19,331 +/- a few miles.

As for location, I'm in Columbus, Oh.

Is this another you are looking to buy or are you trying to sell?

Possibly both. I have one already, but there is another for sale. I only need one, but I might buy the other and sell the one I have. Possibly keep both...not sure yet, just trying to get a feel for what the typical prices are.

    +1 on what schooter said.

If it looks and runs as good as wizard or bigfitz bikes then add about 2000. :)

It seems to be all physical. The tank could use a good polish or possible repaint. Side cover for the Batt. is missing and the seat cover HAS to be replaced. I paid 700 for the first one, not sure what I can get the guy to on the second one. I've seen them on CL for around 1100 and even one guy selling his for 1500 in almost the exact same condition as the one I already have (seat and cover need replaced) So in perfect condition (as perfect as an 82 can be) could I expect to sell one for 1200

Tires should be judged by date code, not how they look.

A bike you are planning to ride (not just a "parts bike") will need brakes, tires, etc., all the usual stuff so keep that in mind.

Yes, in "needs nothing" condition, $1200 isn't unreasonable.
