I've searched endless hours on the this topic. Tomorrow I'm going to jump in and give it a whirl at syncing the carbs. I have my homemade bottle set up and YICS tool ready to go. All i know is i'm looking for a screw that's on carbs 1, 2, and 4. since carb 3 is independent of the rest. can anyone else give me a better visual? possibly a picture, of the screw i should be adjusting??

Question 2, after I get them synced am I doing anything with the idle screw?

Once again, sorry for the 10 millionth post on carb syncing, but I couldn't find what i was looking for in any of the other posts.

There are actually 3 screws. One is between carbs 1 and 2 between 2 and 3 and between 3 and 4. You could probably see the two outside ones but the center one is hard to see unless you get the tank completely out of the way.
They are a slotted screw with a visible spring on them.

    Sorry for the big pic.

Awesome, great pic. So those are the screws i will adjust with the two bottle set up.. 3>4 1>2 then 2>3..

I'm assuming the hose for the vac goes to the cap somewhere, which isn't in this picture?

the hoses should connect to the intake manifolds. they have the black rubber caps on them. No they are not in the pic. Normally I sync 1&2 then 3&4 and then 1&2 to 3&4. It takes time and patients. You only have to give a very slight turn to the screws. (The thickness of a dime) to make a difference. Give the throttle a little "Bip" between adjustments. Good Luck

Thanks, you def helped me. I'm hoping that they're close already. The bike runs great, just looking to get a lil more out of her as I do alot of highway riding.

Going into it fairly confident. Watch how fast that'll drop off.

I forgot to mention. Keep the idle around 1000 to 1100 rpm's. The idle changes while your adjusting. If you let it get too high, The sync will not be the same when you set it at normal idle when your finished.

That might be a problem, being my tach is broken at the moment. Hopefully I'll be able to do it by ear?
