Will the manifolds of a 1979 XS1100 fit my 1982 XJ1100?

    Anyone know if the 1979 XS1100 manifolds will fit ok on my 1982 XJ1100?
    They look the same, but wanted to reach out to see if anyone knows on here? Thanks!

    You are talking of the carb to engine mounting manifold right? They will interchange, no difference between them. The airbox manifolds are different.

    Sorry, I was referring to the exhaust manifolds. I think they will fit, but want to check here before buying them in case anyone knows they if they will not fit.

    They should , the XS and XJ frame and engine are almost identical. I just did some quick measurments on both of mine and I don't see any reason they won't interchange, but I have never done it. Tube length , diameter and mounting positions are the same on both.
