Welcome LadyDeTour. Are you looking to do some cosmetic work on your bike? Paint? Scratches?

Another welcome to you -- and it's worth it to spend your own time & elbow grease making the bike pretty :-> There's tons of articles out there on excellent motorcycle detailing.... basically it's wash, dry, detail & wax.

    Welcome Ms. DeTour.

I for one have found that there is a certain amount of pride in that shine....because I did it myself.

    YOU CAN DO IT!!

We'll help! at least in moral support.

There are lots of articles on how to clean different parts of bikes on this site.

Besides when everyone is oggling your bike you can have the satisfaction of knowing, you did it.

I agree with Hvnbnd ladydetour, but if you want it done by someone else to handle the detailing of your bike make sure you ask for references before hand. If you want to ship or ride the bike to me in maine I'll do the detaing for you- free!

doing it youself though, helps you get intimate with your bike. You will tend to notice things and inspect things on a regular basis that others may not pick up on. Oh yeah... and a big WELCOME to you as well!
