Yeah i know..I bought petrol Tap/Petcock repair kit for the second time (dont ask, Clever Engineering Buddy, with something out of a tin called Heldite, which sticks lick S**t to a Blanket).Anyhow the Royal Mail does its best and next day a replacement duly arrives. So off to the garage i go to gloat at the rapidly improving third love of my life (after the lovely Wendy and Daughter Ellen). But where to put the repair kit for safekeeping ,as my Son uses the garage as a garden shed.I know, what better place but on the bike behind the cylinders on the clutch side?.The next day the sun shines at last so I'm off to the garden centre to get food for my Koi,so out comes the XJ for a blast.
Much later, ive got spare time and a nearly empty Fuel Tank, so off to the garage i go.As i put the key in the lock the realisation hits me ...where did i put that little box with the repair kit?

If you are like me you will find it after you buy another. I have a whole garage full of duplicate stuff.

Don't feel too bad mate, how many here have actually walked out the front door, locked it, turned around and then said "What the F**K was I going to do"?

C'mon, I'll be the first. Didn't cost me 13 quid though!
