ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS

    Hello, I need some help with my lights, I have no, brakes, turn and neutral ligths, the fuses are OK, where should I look next ???

    Have you checked the fuse with an ohm meter to verify it's ok? Some fuses can "look" fine but be bad. All 3 of those systems run from the same fuse.

    Does your oil light and horn work?

    working OK,

    I have a XJ 400 Special. It´s a four cylinders four carb with Yics sistem, It´s pretty much like the XJ 550

    I would check you have 12v on the "Live" side of the fuse.

    I thank you for the diagram I´ll see if I can finde what is wrong, an again yes I have 12 V in both end of the fuse box. Anyway this happened
    suddenly, it was working OK

    Now she is completely dead, I can´t get it to start or anything, the only tings that I got is , Head light and horn.
    PLEASE HELP :(

    I'd start checking wires to make sure you've got continuity from brake switch to light socket, and make sure your grounds are ok.

    You will have to be meticulous and use the above diagram following from say your tail/brake light back looking for 12volts.
