    Hey all,

I came across these forums when trawling the net for information on my beloved 31A. Perusing a few auspicious posts made me feel right at home, and so I decided to register.

I'm very new to motorcycling (going on a month now), but I'm enjoying learning to ride, and of course riding itself. My XJ900 was a bargain at the price I got her and despite her being a bit on the scruffy side, I wouldn't want to part with her, on the contrary, unless she suffers catastrophic failure somehow (I sure hope not!), I intend to keep her forever.

I'll be in your care! I hope I don't commit too many blunders.

Pictures of my bike (I've decided to call her Bia, after the Greek goddess of violence):
