new guy, with a new project

    hey everybody, i just got my first bike and figured this was the place to be, anyway i got a 1982 yamaha maxim xs400j, i traded it for my 1988 tbird, and couldnt be happier, i plan to build a nice 2 seater bobber for me and my lady the bike has 16k on it, real good condition, rides real nice and strong. i havent seen many of these on this site. are they somewhat rare or what.

    kinda rare but not really. I had two, now only one left. modified the snot out of both of 'em. neat bikes really. see my gallery and check out my posts too. several others on here too.

    Geez, another one, lots popping up, a few more on Kijiji locally as well.
    If I had the cash I could have a Max 400 fleet......
    Now if a Seca pops up........ only seen 1 around here.....
