I love the drag bars. Get at least 1" risers if you decide that route.

Thanks Schooter. I have quite a bit to go but it's moving along. I need steering stem bearings and if I do that then I might as well gut the triple tree and just run a speedo and a bullet headlight.

How'd you do the fenders? Are they cut down trailer fenders?

I really like the side cover idea. I may have to steal that concept from you. Very nice.

If you do the neck bearings buy the tapered roller upgade from chacal, they are NICE. BTW bike looks good, I think my differential is going to be blacked out, I like it!

Rear fender looks great. The side covers look great makes me feel like I'm part of the build :) Can't wait to see it finished.

After a brief delay (hospital stay) I'm good now. Just ordered forward controls and getting prepped for paint. Side mounted tail/license plate mount. Smaller turn signals are on the way.
    Stay tuned!

Ever think of reproducing those side covers for sale? What might a set cost?
Same as the fender. I love the way you made the bike look. If I got a second maxim I would do one up just like you did. Might be a good side business for you.

I want Drag Bars on my 750.
Check-out the 2010 Paint Blends from "House of Colors"

It's really cool like it is.

    I'd make these 5 changes:
