Just got parts back from bodyshop. While waiting i did all the flat black which i think came out pretty good. i havent figured out what im doing with the pipes yet. I dumped at the end of last season and one got damaged. Thats why there is only 1 mirror because the other still has the end stuck in the bars. Thats also why i had to change the rear signals. I put suzuki savage shocks on the rear which dropped quite a bit. I am waiting for a friend to shorten and weld the kickstand back together then ill will probaly remove the large rear one.

    Looks nice.
I'm not sure about all the flat black bits. It's better than messed up chrome.

    Great color Red

Your rectifier is gonna fall off with only one bolt :p

I think I'd replace the brake lines next but that's just me.

How well can you see with that mirror?

I bet it's LOUD right now!

i really havent even tried looking out the mirror yet lol. guess i was waiting till i get the other one on. It was extremely loud when i started it today so i ended up throwing the stock megaphones back on for now until i figure it out. What would you do with the brake lines mike? the color is actually 2010 corvette red and i got the guy at the bodyshop to paint everything for $200.

Nice paint job though, really. :D The bright red and flat black go good together, wonder what the fork lowers and fender bracket would look like in flat black. :?:

    WHOA!!!!
For a minute there I thought you had maybe smoked some crack and put big yellow/orange splotches on your red paint.
Then I got to the bottom of the picture and saw what you had written about the Sun.
That's sure lookin nice, and the blacked out pieces really make it look different in a good way.
If you have any red paint left over, maybe do just the lettering on the carb covers that says 5VALVE, I think that would break up some of the black on the sides and bring a splash of colour in there.

yeah i could probaly do the 5 valve sign red. I think that would look good. I think im going to paint the rims probaly a graphite color next and the rear handles that hold the blinkers ill probaly do the flat black. I could probaly color the maxim x lettering red as well
