Hi everyone, im tring to switch out my valve cover gasket an i have reached a dead end. I sprayed on some CRC technician grade gasket remover. It looks like some powerfull stuff, I scraped around under the gasket and 80% came off clean but theres a couple stubborn patches left over.

I have no idea what im supposed to do now, sand paper? Chisel? any suggestions help.
    Thanks

Permatex SPRAY (from NAPA) NOT the new environmentally-friendly gel.

You can also use a dull chisel-blade X-acto knife as a "precision gasket scraper."
