Hi all. I just picked up a yamaha. YICS, 2 cylinder, 1982. No idea the CC cause it seems all #'s are either rubbed off or the tags are missing.
It has an aluminum swingarm with a "monoshock" instead of the standard rear shocks. :?:

I've spend hours trying to find a pic and I can't find one. I'm close to believing this bike is someones hybrid mutant.

the vin, (if that's even right) is....
    JYA12ROOOCAO11349

Anyone have any ideas? I can post a pic tomorrow, but was hoping someone might hazzard a guess as to this "thing"...

Sounds like a 400 from what I have read around here... but I dont know these bikes well enough yet to say definitively.

Cool. Thank you! Now I know what to tell people who may want to buy parts of this bike as well as my Virago...lol

The Virago frame will make a great bobber.

    Thanks again:)
