    as i said in my intro i have got a 750 maxim for the wife. It didnt run and was sitting for yrs so i got it for a song.I pulled the carbs and cleaned them..cleaned out the tank..new battery and plugs.This thing screams! Only problem im having now is that it idels down a little slow...not bad but not as fast as my bike. Any suggestions would be helpfull..TY

    sounds like a vacuum leak to me.
    throttle shaft seals in good condition
    carb cleaner / propane test would be a good start
