Running lights?

    Are the front signal lights suppose to light up on an 82' XJ 650 when I turn the key along with the headlight? Only noticed yesterday they don't...got my flashers working again....may in 82' running lights were just a suggestion?!?

    The short answer is no. They were meant to be turn signals. However that being said you can convert them if you wanted to.
