back on the road!

New battery, new rear brakes, and new tires.

Went for an easy ride to get the "new tire slickness" off - fantastic! 28 year old bike runs fantastic and still turns heads.

 

Looks great, hopefully mine will get close to looking like this and turn a few heads too! Diid you do the pin-striping on the tank?

No. It was the original black with tiny blue flake when I first had it. I sold it to a friend of the family, who had it repainted, and that's how it is now that I bought it back. Although I wasn't such a fan of the pinstripe when I first repurchased it, I admit it is growing on me. You can see it a bit better below.
