    I have been looking around for an electronic copy of the Factory Service Manual for my bike in an electronic format. I have found a few sites that I can purchase an electronic copy for a few bucks, but I'm not sure if it is 1) Legit and 2) the correct manual. Does anyone know of a reliable source for an electronic copy of the yamaha factory service manual for an 82' XJ650RJ?

    There is NO one licensed to reproduce Factory Service Manuals.
    No one.
    Despite all claims to the contrary; every copy of a Genuine Yamaha Service Manual not obtained through Yamaha or from a vendor who sells Genuine Publications is outlawed.

    Genuine Manuals contain a page inside the front cover which is YAMAHA's Copyright.
    The Copyright clearly and explicitly says:
    "ALL Rights Reserved"

    Distributing Copies of Yamaha Publications without License and Permission is against the Law.

    [justify]I don't want to step on your toes, but I know that I could NOT find a print copy of a service manual for my XJ700. The only way I could get it was from one of those sites. I know it's a crap shoot as to whether or not you are getting what you wanted, but at least I have a service manual now. I think it would be beneficial if we had a site listing where a person can legally buy a print copy.[/justify]
