hey guys sold a few and baught a few

i guys well its been a wile since i have been on.
i m getting pretty good at thease bike now, had that 80 xj650 maxim, rebuilt carbs cleaned up sold, had 5,275 miles on it, the 750 i had did the rick carb cleaning and cleand up sold it.

picked up that xj1100 and yes it did have the 1st - 2nd gear prob, i fliped it removed the countershaft and gears 4th gear dogs goiung to second were trashed so i picked up xs1000 gears looked good didi the dremel trick got them back in then noticed that the shift drum detent pin was missing and the stoper gear? i new someone had been in there that would explain why it wouldnt go inter gears right and poped out of gear lol
i broke the new detent pin so i orderd anouther get it back monday, shoulkd be cake just have to slip back the shift drum slip in detent and forks install clutch and se what i got, it only has 16,000 4 into one and pods should scream.
now i just picked up a 83 seca xj900rk been sitting out has 49,000 is that high miles? guess depends on how it was taken care of well only $250 has 4 into 1.
removed carbs and giving them the massy clean, also picked up anouther xj650 same color as the last and only 12,000 miles cleaning those carbs and i think it will fire right up
wow that 5 xjs in the last 2 months

Where are you located? I only ask because I saw an XJ900RK like two weeks ago in Glouster MA for about that price

Good luck. If I had a bigger garage...or a shed...or at least a truck or trailer, I'd have alot more than I have now too. I'm not sure I'd be so good at flipping them tho
