    I'm new to bikes.
Ive been fiddling with my bike, working on
    getting it to run smooth.
Do I first sync the quads or get the air fuel
    mixture right?

If you have cleaned the carbs, get them in the ball park with a bench sync' set the pilot screws to default, 2 3/4 turns out from gently bottomed, set the float levels, then get the carbs back on the bike & get it running, then syncronize the carbs, then if you are unhappy with any aspect of the running, you can do some plug chopping & tweeking with the pilot mixture screws.

How do you set the float levels?

    Adjust valves first.
