Whats the Torque Recommended for Axle nuts on Maxim X.....

    In my XJCD the serv manual says 70ft lbs otherwords 105Nm...i guess its wrong...WHATS THE RIGHT TORQUE..Anyone..?

    Mate my conversion of 70 ft lbs to Nm comes out at 94.9. I've also replied on your similar thread.

    Use the German torque spec: Gutentight.

    I put mine on yesterday at 77 ft lbs like my Haynes manual recommended... I don't see what's wrong with 70?

    My manual says 75 foot lbs, and 14 for the pinch bolt, it's a Yamaha service manual...
