Alright guys. I am planning on rebuilding my bike from the ground up and would like some input from the gurus. Just to clarify, my main goals are to tear the bike down to the ground and replace all the seals in the engine, repaint engine and valve covers, run all new wiring minus the fuse boc because it is already updated, powder coat the frame, repaint side covers and tank, polish all chrome and probably some other things i cant think of at the moment.

If anyone could post links that pertain to the above listed topics and any other info that you think may be pertanant that would be great. Thanks alot guys.

If you break into the engine, you would want all new chains and guides, a quality valve job, a starter clutch, a regular clutch, as well as gaskets and seals.

All new wires?? I had a horrible wire harness on my 750.
I replaced it for $15 off of E-Bay, and even got all the relays.
Are you thinking of re-wiring it yourself- - one wire at a time??

If you take it completely apart, stay organized, lots of sandwich bags and masking tape.

Plan on rough drawings and bagging and labeling everything. If there is an option to buy an already assembled wire harness then that would be great. I want to do everything the right way but would also like to make it as easy as possible.
