Been at it three hours this morning. Pulled the carbs, checked the floats - they were off. again.

Ran out & bought myself a decent set of slide rulers & a depth gauge. Set the floats, and got them all at 3mm by the clear tube method after an initial set of 17.5mm dry. Reset the mixture (again) to 2 3/4 turns. started right up at full choke, and now that it's warm I have it idling beautifully at about 1100 rpm. This is the best it's sounded since I've had it!

colortune & balance next, then I'm outta here!!

    Thanks everyone!

Just got back from a 15 mile ride. Not only does it rev, but it flies!

Great feeling isn't it? I just had the same thing happen to me two days ago. I took mine down the road for a 1 min ride with the aux tank hanging on the handlebars like an iv.
