Just wanted to say thanks for this board, got my old bike that's been mothballed and neglected for 15 years running like a top again. Carbs restored and synced, all is well and she runs like a raped ape. Would have been a struggle without the info I found searching this forum.

Got a short ride in today just to make sure all was well. It went beautifully. This old gal still has pretty good snap.

You have checked the rear brake shoes for delamination, right?

I did check out the rear (and front) brakes. All seems well, they still look like new.

St pinetree, good job, glad to hear. The glue on those pads is old even though they may look good. You know what delamination is right? Be sure none of that pad is coming off its mounting surface brotha. Enjoy the season!
