Hi, I am stripping down an Fj600 1984 US model ( same as xj600 ) project restoration and I am having grief trying to get the rear engine mounting bolt out , the nut came undone easily enough, but the bolt just wont budge, it does rotate with a socket but even with the biggest hammer and punch , it wont come out, the end D washers and bushes go round when turning the bolt but I have managed to wedge them to stop them rotating . The middle spacer tube is a harder one to clamp though , I have tried with one mole grip clamp , but the spacer still spins round when I turn the bolt with the socket, maybe I will try 2 mole grip clamps , I have flooded it with wd40 , I havnt tried heat yet . I am assuming that the bolt has just corroded its self to the spacer tube and rubber engine mounts . any other ideas ????
Also is the only way of getting the air box out , by removing the engine ????
    cheers, Neil.

Lift up on the engine a bit with pry bar. I had to do that on my 81 xj650. Slide the bar between the case and frame and take the weight off the bolt and it slid right out.
