the plugs in the pic are from 1 to 4, left to right. Obvioulsy # 1 is a different color and the only thing I can see different on the other three is the timing strap mark (learned that from xj member Parts) from plug to plug. so now I'm gonna come a nickels width worth Out on the #1 hole. what ya think?

    Too lean!
on the lean site of perfect(personal taste)
    ditto as above
Kinda hard to tell, but I would say a tad lean

:!: Disclaimer: The above is more an "informed" guess than an experienced opinion! :p

1 is a little rich. being black. 2 is a little lean being white. 3 and 4 look ok.

golden brown is the ideal color.

all my plugs are brown. give or take a shade of each other. idle mixture adjusted by ear. i don't own any of them fancy tools. but i've also got years of adjusting automobile carbs when they still existed. usually becuase they failed emissions. but also from rebuild jobs.

    WOW!

    You can leave 2, 3, & 4 ... right there.
    Those are nice.

Measure the Depths of those Pilot Screw Tops down from the Top of the Housing.
You'll know where they need to be to have them like that.

Thanks guys, that means A Lot. Now, if I can get my damn brakes to bleed I would ride the damn thing. Basically a new system, think the pistons are letting air by the seal. Waiting for new ones some time next week. Another weekend down.
