    I'll sign up for a clinic should one be thrown together. I've got two colortune plugs (12mm and 14mm), a YICS blanking tool and a sync gauge set.

    Anyone interested in getting a bunch of us XJ owners together for a ride or general knowledge sharing......

    My '82 XJ750J Maxim is almost ready for the road.........need to figure out why all of my plugs are not firing......

    I suspect a bad IC ignitor.......

    I hope not! I'm putting my carbs back togeter next week, and someone with some experience would really help me out to get them tuned properly!

    Edit: Oops, just realized how old this thread is... anyone out there near Imperial Beach area?

    Reasonably so, but my non-standard work schedule makes anything like a carb clinic questionable for me. Plus, given the amount of time it took me to sort out the carbs for my X, I don't know if I could be really considered "experienced".

    As you noticed, there are a number of users near San Diego -- a couple up in Oceanside, if memory serves.
