I'm going to remove the old cable-actuated hydraulic front brake system from my Seca this weekend (assuming the new brake lines come in before then) and have a few questions.

1)What is the best way to remove the old MC? It's hidden pretty well and I'm not sure what needs to be removed to get to it. I remember once trying to take the headlight assembly off but gave up because.

2)What is the best way to route a brake line from a bar-mounted MC to the L brake? Can I run it behind the headlight?

if you plan on keeping the stock headlight, just leave the original cylinder back there and route you lines behind the light/in front of the MC

i removed everything when i did mine cuz i went with different light etc etc

My 82 650 Seca's is super easy to remove from the bars. The distribution block is under the headlight and also easy to remove, just have to take the cosmetic plastic off wit 2 screws (this is for dual disk only)
